THE CONCEPT CRIMINOLOGICAL IMMUNITY AS CATEGORIES OF CRIMINOLOGICAL SCIENCE
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article substantiates the need to develop a risk-oriented approach to ensuring criminological security in the context of the complexity of the modern criminogenic situation. It is shown that traditional models of crime prevention, focused on a static understanding of security, do not allow for a full account of the dynamic, latent and adaptive nature of criminological threats. The category of criminological immunity is introduced and theoretically revealed as an integral characteristic of the resistance of objects and individuals to criminogenic influences. Criminological immunity is considered as a multi-level, dynamic property of a social system, formed under the influence of institutional, organizational, economic, sociocultural, and individual-behavioral factors. Special attention is paid to the individual level of criminological immunity, its connection with victimological vulnerability, legal socialization, and prevention. The theoretical and applied significance of the proposed concept for the activities of law enforcement agencies is revealed.
