Abstract (English):
The article discusses the issues of scientific support for the law enforcement process of countering modern terrorist threats. The directions of scientific support are determined, one of which is the sci-entific understanding of the normative legal regulation of the law enforcement process of countering modern terrorist threats, expressed in further detail of the international definition of "terrorism", the commensurability of the provisions of federal laws with the norms of law, the integration of the norms of model codes into the domestic legislation of the CIS member states. The article highlights such a direction of scientific support as operational investigative prevention, the priority of which is to identify the intent to commit a crime related to terrorist activity, which arises through the propaganda of ter-rorist ideology. The article indicates that in the scientific study of the process of preventing terrorism, it is necessary to focus on the issue of countering the propaganda of terrorist ideology, as it poses a significant threat to the involvement of citizens in terrorist activities. The author argues that it is nec-essary to create a specialized system consisting of operational-investigative, criminological, criminal-legal aspects, capable of creating effective conditions for the timely identification and rational elimi-nation of the real causes and conditions of the emergence and further formation of the ideological or-igins of terrorism.
