Abstract (English):
The article considers extremism as a negative social phenomenon, the forms of which are evolving and becoming more diverse. In the context of global global processes, crime is becoming cross-border, and therefore, for the most successful fight against extremism at the international level, it is necessary to create and develop universal platforms for dialogue, information exchange and coordination of efforts between States. International organizations are indispensable in this difficult struggle, which at the present stage need to quickly adapt to new challenges and actively develop rulemaking in this area. At the same time, the effectiveness of international organizations is limited by the political fragmentation of States, which is also due to the complexity of the legal nature of extremism, the concept of which needs to be normalized.
