The article examines key aspects of crime prevention through the prism of criminological and victimological knowledge. The main attention is paid to operational-search victimology, which, as the author emphasizes, plays a significant role in the legal and organizational context of the fight against crime. The key idea of the article is the need to integrate victimological research into the system of legal support and law enforcement, which will allow a more comprehensive and targeted approach to the problem of crime prevention. This includes both organizational aspects and legal frameworks that must be adapted to modern realities. The article emphasizes that by considering victimology not as a secondary element, but as an important direction in criminological research, it is possible to significantly increase the level of the fight against crime, which is especially relevant in the conditions of modern society.
