Abstract:
The scientific article reveals the main areas of scientific research in the field of operational and investigative activities, examines the retrospective analysis of scientific aspirations at the All-Russian Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and defines the specifics of countering latent crime. The article explores the field of retrospective and modern scientific knowledge and research aspirations, which provide law enforcement practice with a set of scientific methods for organizing operational and investigative work and creating favorable conditions in the legal, organizational, and methodological spheres for effectively countering modern types of crime. The article specifies that the appeal to the operational and investigative heritage of the past in the context of modern scientific aspirations implies the formation of modern scientific positions in operational and investigative activities through a thorough analysis of difficult issues in the theory of operational and investigative activities, as well as in the practical work of operational officers, and the filigree generalization of the scientific views of researchers of the Russian law enforcement system in this field of scientific knowledge that require scientific resolution.
