Abstract:
The article reveals the factors influencing the formation of the drug market of the Russian Federation at the present stage. The analysis of statistical data on the state of drug crime in the Russian Federation for 2024-2025, the study of the norms of current legislation, and the opinions of practical staff of drug trafficking control units of territorial internal affairs bodies The Russian Federation allowed the author to identify problematic issues of countering drug trafficking and propose some measures to improve the effectiveness of combating illicit trafficking in precursors and the functioning of drug laboratories.
