Russian Federation
This paper examines some issues for the state and trends of women's participation in the activities of organized groups and criminal communities (criminal organizations) in the Russian Federation at the present stage. Quantitative indicators characterizing female organized crime are analyzed. The relationship between female recidivism and female organized crime is described. The specificity of the formation of the considered negative socio-legal phenomenon associated with the equality of men and women in the Russian Federation and in the USSR is highlighted. The peculiarities of the for-mation of criminal motivation in women involved in the sphere of Russian organized crime are indicated. Based on the analysis of the indicators of the results of countering women's organized crime, the criminological features of the prevention of this type of criminal activity are highlighted. Some proposals for improving prevention of organized crime involving women are formulated.
