The article deals with problematic issues related to countering organized criminal groups consisting of representatives of ethnic diasporas. The author analyzes the problems encountered in the law enforcement practice of employees of operational units of internal affairs bodies related to the prosecu-tion of leaders and active participants of organized criminal groups formed on an ethnic basis. The author examines the content of operational investigative measures, which are an effective means of countering ethnic organized crime. The article provides suggestions and recommendations related to the conduct of operational investigative measures aimed at documenting crimes committed in organized forms by representatives of ethnic diasporas
