Public safety and the effectiveness of its provision are important for the stable functioning of the Russian state, and therefore close attention is currently being paid to this activity. Taking into ac-count the dynamism of improving public life in the modern world, there is an intensification of criminal influence, against the background of which, among other things, there are changes in illegal practices directed against public safety. Such acts pose a significant threat to the development of society, since they are associated with the formation of complex illegal ideas and views, the implementation of which has significant negative consequences. The purpose of the presented research is to identify existing problems of combating crimes against public safety and identify ways to solve them, taking into account the current state of development of the Russian state and society. Based on the analysis, the author comes to the conclusion that the problems.
