Law, through its regulatory impact, influences social reality and digitalization processes, but at the same time, being a system, is influenced by the latter, which is manifested in changes in form (legis-lative system) and content (legal system), qualitative and quantitative metamorphoses, which will be discussed below. The purpose of the study is to formulate trends in the legal system determined by digitalization, increase self-regulation processes in the legal sphere, study the processes under consideration by analyzing data obtained by legal theorists, as well as scientists in various branches of law and repre-sentatives of technical sciences (in the field of IT). When writing the article, general scientific (analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction) and specific scientific research methods were used. The article focuses on the insufficient study of the processes of digitalization influence on the legal system and its form - the legislative system, qualitative and quantitative metamorphoses determined by this process in law. The author used the provisions of the general theory of systems that determine the mutual influence of law as a system and processes associated with digitalization.
