Abstract (English):
The driver's state of intoxication poses a significant threat to the safety of himself and other road us-ers. According to statistics, traffic accidents committed by drivers in a state of intoxication are characterized by high severity of consequences. Taking into account modern realities, the article considers medical examination and the application of other administrative and procedural measures in relation to persons driving vehicles in a state of narcotic or other toxic intoxication. The current state of the regulatory legal regulation of medical examinations and the application of other administrative and procedural measures in relation to persons driving vehicles in a state of narcotic or other toxic intoxication is presented, the practice of applying medical examinations and other administrative and procedural measures in relation to these persons is considered.
