Abstract (English):
The article examines the main directions of the development of the system of combating the money laundering of proceeds from illicit drug trafficking. Statistical data on countering crimes provided for in articles 174 and 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation are analyzed. Law enforcement practice and court decisions are studied. The positive results of cooperation with Rosfinmonitoring are noted. Problematic issues arising in the operational activities of the drug control units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of The Russian Federation are presented.
