The article reveals the features of administrative and legal prevention of the offending behavior of previously convicted persons at the present stage of development of Russian society and the state. The administrative and legal fight against the offenses of previously convicted persons is investigated in the context of extrapolation to the constitutional and legal provisions on ensuring public safety and the foundations of the constitutional system. Modern threats in the sphere of illegal behavior of the specified category of citizens are analyzed. Administrative and legal measures to prevent the offending behavior of previously convicted persons are considered in conjunction with the constitutional provisions in this area of public relations. Priority measures are proposed to improve the prevention of offenses of previously convicted persons in the Russian Federation.
