Organized crime of a common criminal nature poses a serious threat to the stability of society, undermining law and order, economic security and social well-being. Despite the constant efforts of law enforcement agencies, the effectiveness of combating this phenomenon remains insufficient. This article is devoted to the analysis of key problems that arise in countering organized crime of a common criminal nature. The author suggests a comprehensive approach to solving the problems faced by employees of operational units of law enforcement agencies in countering organized forms of crime. The author has made proposals aimed at improving legislation and optimizing the activities of law enforcement agencies in the context of combating organized crime of a common criminal nature
