The article examines the norms of the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated De-cember 29, 2018 No. 903 "On the organization of the work of the State Inspectorate for Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation to promote road safety" (hereinafter - the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia No. 903). Proposals are made to define the term "traffic safety propaganda", clarify the principles and forms of propaganda activities, organize training and direct activities of propaganda department employees. In the context of the subject area of the study, changes are proposed to the legislation on information and information technologies, on the protection of children from information, on the media, on advertising and on cinematography.
