The purpose of writing the article is to draw attention to the issue of researching the heroic experience of people who survived the siege of Leningrad, as well as its importance for generations. The study is devoted to the tragic everyday life of the besieged Leningrad. The problem of the supply of food to the front, as well as the resettlement of people who found themselves in a war zone, is revealed. It describes the overcoming of difficulties and heroism of the inhabitants during the Great Patriotic War. As long as all that they have done is remembered and honored, their feat lives and will live forever! The importance of the heroic lessons of the Great Patriotic War is one of the key factors for the patriotic education of the younger generation of Russia, but especially those who linked their lives with the profession of defender of the Fatherland.
