The relevance of considering the issues of criminalistic support of criminal proceedings in criminalistics science and practice is primarily due to the fact that all stages of criminal proceedings, starting with the establishment of a criminal case, up to judicial or possible exceptional stages of criminal proceedings, are normatively provided by the criminal procedure law. But at the same time, in terms of technical, tactical and methodological support, this legal process is not provided at the proper level. In this regard, in practice, such negative phenomena periodically occur as problems with proving the guilt of the person who committed the crime, a significant number of acquittals related to poor-quality preliminary investigation of crimes and submission to court of criminal cases with insufficient evidence base. Modern forensic investigative practice is in dire need of high-quality and timely forensic support for criminal cases.
